Camp Fimfo: Waco Texas

Luxury RV Resort Located in near Magnolia

Having a getaway without the RV was just what we needed!

We spent a long Mother’s Day weekend at Camp Fimfo in Waco, Texas.  Camp Fimfo was gracious enough to host us for the weekend, and it was the perfect getaway. (And we were so excited to explore Magnolia on this visit!)

We stayed in a Mammoth Cabin and loved it!  There were beds for 9 AND the couch was a pull out.  The kids all stayed in one room (because they love each other so much), and still had tons of space to play in their room!  We loved that the kitchen was fully stocked, which allowed us to make most of our meals in the cabin.  We spent time relaxing in the cabin and on the porch when it was raining outside! I loved having my coffee on the porch.

The kids LIVED at the water playground all weekend.  It was perfect for smaller kids to play for hours. Our kids range from 3-9 and they all loved it! Titus was able to play without his floatie.  We even joined the kids for many adventures down the slides!  We really enjoyed having a cabana at the pool.  This allowed us to store snacks in the fridge, use the fan to keep away any bugs and hide when the rain came! It gave the grown ups a spot to relax while the kids played. You can also have food ordered right to your cabana!  We didn’t even make it into the pool with the swim up bar and basketball hoop because the kids were so busy on the slides.  There were also two hot tubs!

We loved all the amenities that the park had to offer: playground, mini golf, jumping pillow, restaurant, ice cream, coffee, bar, crafts, scheduled activities, store and golf cart rentals.

There are many ways to stay at Camp Fimfo!  RV sites, a variety of cabins and tent sites.  Take a trip to explore Waco and stay at Camp Fimfo Waco!
